I became interested in video games, technology and writing at a young age while scouring the pages of gaming magazines like Nintendo Power and Electronic Gaming Monthly.
I've interviewed a variety of tech industry executives, reviewed hundreds of games, and covered GDC, E3, Gamescom, WWDC, Apple keynotes, Samsung press conferences and various local Toronto technology press events. I've appeared on the CBC, CTV, AM640, and other TV and radio stations as a technology analyst.
Publications where my work can be found include XDA, Pocket-lint, MobileSyrup, BetaKit, The National Post, The Financial Post, Postmedia, my own blog Expansion Pak, and a wide range of other platforms.
I worked at MobileSyrup, Canada's largest tech news source, as the publication's Editor-in-Chief, where I covered video games, smartphones, gadgets, virtual reality and augmented reality, as well as controlled the day-to-day editorial direction of the publication and managed a team of full-time writers and several freelancers. I then took on the role of Pocket-lint's Editor-in-chief, where I spearheaded the daily editorial operations of the mobile and gadget-focused tech publication.
I'm currently XDA's News Editor and Entertainment Segment Lead.
